Chocolate Fridge Cake – Gluten and Dairy FreeChocolate Fridge Cake is something I enjoyed as a child. The taste and smell is extremely evocative. I simply wanted to create a version of my childhood favourite that worked for those who cannot tolerate gluten (like me) and dairy.
Baked Spiced Fruity OatsA one pan breakfast. Simply throw in the ingredients, and bake. It is simple to make and ideal to eat on the go.
Chocolate Chia PuddingWould you like chocolate for breakfast? This chocolate chia pudding combines nutrient-packed chia seeds with antioxidant-rich cacao and natural sweetness as well as plant-based milk. It's a delicious and fibre-rich start to the day and can be topped with sliced banana, fresh berries or some coconut chips. Delicious!
Roasted Butternut Squash FalafelThese root vegetable falafels are sweet and nourishing and delicious! Made with roasted butternut squash, some gram flour and some chickpeas with seasoning, they're simple to make for younger family members too!
Breakfast SliceSome mornings are just too busy for anything other than a "grab and go" style breakfast. I know this from experience as these breakfast slices have been munched by my 15 year old many a time on the way to school.
Fruity Kefir ShakeA gut-friendly breakfast or snack. Kefir is a fermented yogurt drink. It is rich in probiotic bacteria. Children do seem to love it which is a good thing as it is a boost to their immune system.
