Who doesn't love the decadent taste of Ferrero Rocher? Well now you can enjoy the taste without the unwanted ingredients.
100 g Hazelnuts
1 tsp Cacao powder
2 tsp Date syrup
½ tsp Vanilla extract
40 g Chopped hazelnuts
Preheat oven to 180 degrees centigrade (fan oven).
Roast the whole hazelnuts for 8 minutes. Remove from the oven to cool.
Keep 8 hazelnuts to one side.
Blitz the remaining hazelnuts in a food processor to crumbs.
Add the cacao powder, date syrup and vanilla extract to the processor and process to combine.
Roll into 8 balls. Insert a single roasted hazelnut into the centre of each ball.
Roll each ball in chopped hazelnuts.
Place in the freezer for 40 minutes to harden then consume.
