It’s been a year in which many of us have started cooking more from home and more from scratch too. Gone are the takeaways and welcome now are the fakeaways. Gone are the ready meals and welcome now are the healthier choices that put you in control of what you eat each day.
When you start making more meals though you must plan more, otherwise you end up spending more money than you need to, and you end up wasting more food too. Meal planning is a time-consuming task and laborious if you have to search on multiple different sites and applications or even in books and magazines. The good news is that you can now access loads of recipes and create your own plan using this fantastic app called Plate Up. I have been working with them for short while now because I love the simplicity of what they’ve created and see just how useful it is.
Plate Up is available via the app store on your iPhone or iPad. It’s well worth downloading and taking the two-week trial and if you find it as useful as many others are finding it then you’ll most likely want to spend the small subscription fee of £1.99 per month to continue using the app. What’s brilliant about it is the fact that you can create your weekly meal plans, with recipes you like to eat but created by top culinary experts and get them delivered via your chosen supermarket. It’s an all-in-one solution! As many people also have specific dietary requirements or preferences Plate Up have rather smartly included in their app a system that allows you to filter your dietary requirements or select certain meal types to suit your lifestyle.
So many of you have asked for me to share more recipes and I believe this is a great platform from which to share my recipes but also alongside so many other great recipes designed by people who are equally interested in making life easier for those who are now cooking their meals at home more than ever before. The recipes are varied, and you’ll be pleased to know that I am sharing Instant Pot recipes via the app too. Do check it out.
